Tink Initialisation

Valve did a dodgy move scrapping the original Half Life Episode 2 bundle which included Team Fortress 2 and Portal. Now you also get Half Life 2 and Half Life Episode 1. This is a bit of a bugger since I already own Half Life 2, along with a lot of other people. I don’t see the point of including Half Life 2 except for valve to make a little more money. I’ll probably end up forking over the extra few dollars anyway.

Update: Apparently this only applies to retail, it may be possible to get the original pack off steam. That is still a bugger for me since downloads cost 2cents for me.

Last week Blizzard announced Starcraft 2. I’m not a big fan of RTS games but Starcraft and Starcraft: Brood war was a lot of fun and has an excellent storyline. Unfortunately hyped sequels aren’t usually as good as the originals so I’m not expecting to much but it still should be a whole load of fun.
